End of Year Review | 2021

Happy New Year! 2021 was an incredible year and I'm so excited to share a little end of year review with all of you. I have chosen one photo memory from each month of the past year to write about. I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season and staying healthy during the ongoing pandemic. Thank you for the never-ending support, I am so honored you have read my blog posts this year.

JANUARY

Dan and I started off 2021 in California! We spent a couple weeks in Los Angeles and San Diego.

FEBRUARY

In February, we moved down to Esterillos Oeste, Costa Rica to teach online from the beach.

MARCH

I learned to surf this month!

APRIL

Our Spring Break trip to the Caribbean ended at the Poas Volcano.

MAY

I was reunited with my sister after nine long months! Kendall and Janine (Dan's sister) visited us in Costa Rica.

JUNE

My family celebrated Wes graduating from Prospect High School and Lucy graduating from South Middle School.

JULY

Kendall and I ran a half-marathon together on a VERY hot July day.

AUGUST

Dan and I started off the 2021-2022 school year in Monteverde, Costa Rica! We teach at the Cloud Forest School. I am the first and second grade teacher.

SEPTEMBER

At the very end of September, we adopted our sweet kitty, Nala.

OCTOBER

Here we are at the Panama Canal during our week-long visit to Panama.

NOVEMBER

Ziplining in Monteverde! I've loved getting to know our new home.

DECEMBER

I was reunited with my family in New York City just in time for Christmas!
